A dog's digestive system is not designed to handle grains, so we recommend grain-free dog kibble to all of our customers. Some manufacturers add grains, which serve no purpose other than cutting costs. Using food with grains puts unnecessary pressure on your dog's digestive system, leading to health issues and vet bills. For example, Acrylamide is an ingredient in low quality dog food that causes cancer in dogs. Acrylamide is found in the grains and potatoes used in low quality kibble. 

Recommended food brands: For a pit bull, you want a kibble with at least 30% protein and 15% crude fat. Also, the first three ingredients should always be meat. Lastly, make sure your dog food contains probiotics for digestion. The best bang for your buck when it comes to premium quality dog food is Taste of the Wild's Grain-Free Dog food.
